Bhagya is a Geriatrician currently working at Barwon Health. She graduated from University of Melbourne in 2016 and completed her specialist physician training at Melbourne Health and Barwon Health. She is of Sri Lankan background, and grew up in Gippsland, Victoria. She is passionate about providing holistic care to older people, particularly those living in regional areas of Victoria. She has experience across all areas of geriatric medicine with particular interests in cognitive changes and continence issues in older adults. Bhagya is a member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Australian New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine.
Bhagya is accepting referrals for comprehensive geriatric assessments at the Geelong Specialist Group as well as for patients in Residential Aged Care Facilities (within the Geelong region).
