Apointment Policies

All appointments are by referral only and scheduled in advance. A valid referral is required for all appointments to allow medicare rebates.
New patients are requested to complete information forms either before or at their first appointment. New patient forms can be found on our website, in the new patient information letter (can be returned by email or bring with you to the appointment), or be completed in the waiting room on arrival if needed.
In the days before your appointment we will send you a reminder and require confirmation of attendance. This is usually via text message. We may also try and call or email you if clarification is needed. If you are unable to attend your appointment, need to cancel or reschedule please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist. Same day cancellations or non attendance (DNA) to scheduled appointments may attract additional fees.

Patients should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.

A late arrival may result in a shorter appointment time or a rescheduled visit.

Patients will receive appointment reminders via text, email, or phone call. If you are expecting an appointment but do not receive a reminder in the days prior, please get in touch with us to assist.
Cancellation Policies

A 24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may incur a fee.

If a patient does not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice (DNA), a no-show fee may be charged.
Repeated no-shows may result in your care being discharged back to your GP ongoing.

In cases of genuine emergencies, cancellation fees will not apply, however please contact our office as soon as possible.

A cancellation fee may range from $25 to $100 depending on the specialist’s practice.
The fee may be higher for procedures or appointments that require significant preparation or time allocation.
