Dr Jess O’Keeffe is an Infectious Diseases physician with public appointments at University Hospital Geelong, Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, while also practicing at St John of God Hospital Geelong and Epworth Waurn Ponds. She is a member of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases as well as the International Immunocompromised Host Society.
She has a special interest in infections in the immunocompromised host, particularly those undergoing therapy with novel biologics, as well as patients with haematological or solid organ malignancies. She offers consultation for pre-immunosuppression screening and planning, as well as management of complex infections. Additional interests include prosthetic joint infections and mycobacterial infections including Buruli Ulcer.
